Rideau Paris: From the Bottom of Page One to the Top 3 in Cairo, Without Ads.

The Problem

This store was ranking #7 in Cairo when someone searched “curtain store near me,” “curtain rods,” or anything curtain-related. In Cairo, ranking #7 means almost invisible, because most customers only click the top three.

What We Did

• Told Google who their customers areTheir profile had a category that had nothing to do with what they do. We removed it and set the main category to exactly what customers search for.
• Made it obvious what they sellTheir website did not clearly say what they did. We rewrote the key parts to state exactly what they sell and where, which alone helped ranking a lot.
• Showed they are experts in their fieldWe built location-based service pages so Google knows the exact areas they serve and what they specialize in.
