The Most Efficient Way To Run Ads

I want to let you in about a marketing strategy that keeps small businesses from making money.

This common misconception has kept marketing in the dark ages for over a hundred years and it can affect your business if not corrected…

The Perfect Excuse For An Ad Doing Nothing

Let’s say you run a Facebook (Meta) ad today. You’d be able to see everything about it…

How many people saw it, how many clicked, who they are, their preferences…

Everything.

Meta alone is capable of taking your startup business to 6, 7, or even 8 figures a year.

Easy.

Then why do the vast majority of businesses take this same approach, I am about to tell you, when doing their marketing?

When I talk to business owners about their experience with ads…

They tell me one of 2 things…

One group says “Ads are useless! I’ve tried them before and just wasted my money.”

“They’re a scam!”

Which is understandable why some might think that.

Managing and improving ads takes up a lot of time and most owners are busy doing…

Well, doing their business,

Now, the second group is far more interesting.

When you ask them about the results they usually say: “Yeah well, you know… There were no sales, there was no clear effect of our advertising.”

“We just spent a thousand dollars on this ad and we have no idea what happened so, oh…”

“Brand building. We did a lot of brand building. That’s what happened.”

“We reached a hundred thousand people. A hundred thousand people saw our name. It’s amazing”

Now, just to be clear before we get into this, I have nothing against brand building.

I think branding is important.

Having a solid coherent brand is an essential metric.

BUT…

Your focus should be on something far simpler…

Your First Priority In Marketing

I completely understand the urge to get more people to know you…

And we will get there. I promise.

Brand building should NOT be your goal from the ads, especially as a small business, especially as a startup.

And if you’re thinking “What about Coca-Cola? What about Mcdonald's? What about all of these big brands?”

“This is ridiculous!”

Yes, branding is nice…

Also, if you look up the history of any of these companies, you’ll find out that they have started out the same way...

By selling.

Coca-Cola started by selling coupons for free soda.

Right now, sure, they can make a singing dancing Coca-Cola can as their marketing department does…

Where there are 600 people working…

600 million dollar budget…

It's all good.

But I assume you don't have a 600 million dollar budget to start out…

Assuming you want to turn a profit.

You can’t imagine how much money it takes to saturate the whole market with your brand name so they can recognize it.

So let’s focus on running our ads to sell things, shall we?

Here’s how…

The Easiest Way To Guarantee Profit From Your Ads

Before you sit down to create an ad, you would want to have a clear goal set for it.

Do you want people to buy more?

Good, see what part they’re not interested in and change that.

Maybe you need better offers and should try standing out more from the competition…

Try bundling your products or show that you have a guarantee.

Maybe you have an excellent experience at your store you wanna show off…

Maybe very little wait time.

Whatever you are trying to do…

Have a simple goal for it and keep it measurable.

You are looking for results here.

And luckily with Meta, you have access to all the details you’d need about the clients and all the ways to measure your ads.

Make sure that you have a good conversion, good product, good offer…

And your brand will get bigger and better in no time.

Sure, you're going to build your brand as a side effect of selling things.

But, we don't put that in first place.
